SumoSprings(R) are a patented suspension product designed to enhance load carrying ability, stabilize sway, and improve overall driver control and ride comfort. They are maintenance free, do not leak air, and do not require airlines or compressors. SumoSprings(R) are manufactured in a variety of heights, diameters and densities to support multiple front and rear applications. They are manufactured from proprietary closed micro-cellular urethane providing a smooth and progressive spring rate. The SSR-117-47 pair (left & right rear) is rated for heavy-duty rear support with progressive spring characteristics — soft initial engagement that firms under load. The SSR-117-47 capacity is rated up to approximately 1,500 pounds when compressed 50% (do not compress beyond recommended limits). Exterior is painted; designed as a one-piece unit to replace or upgrade factory bump stops and improve ride control and comfort.
