This Attwood Float Switch With Cover can convert a manual bilge pump into one that is controlled fully automatically by this responsive and efficient switch. This switch features a compact design that mounts on any surface from horizontal up to a 24-degree angle. It incorporates a reliable mechanical switch that actuates the pump motor at 2 inches water level. Its cover offers additional protection, and a convenient test knob extends out from the cover so you can confirm the switch is operable. The wire leads do not flex or hinge with the float, as they do on some competitive models, and the integral cover dampens bilge sloshing to reduce pump cycling and prevent debris interference. The sealed switch mechanism resists moisture, fume-ignition, and electrical shock. It is 12- and 24-volt CE rated and has a 36-inch wire connection. The maximum amp draw is 12 amps (at 12-volt DC) or 6 amps (at 24-volt DC). This switch measures 5 ¼ inches L x 3 7/8 inches W x 2 7/8 inches H. It contains no mercury, which is listed as a health hazard and “Persistent Toxic Substance” in over 26 states. Marine ignition protected and RoHS compliant.
