Tempilstik 28033 Surface Temperature Indicator (375°F) from TEMPIL (LA-CO INDUSTRIE) is a precision, single-use surface temperature indicator supplied with a slip-resistant metal holder engineered for smooth operation and maximum user control. Available in a wide range of temperature ratings, each Tempilstik is traceable (marked by temperature and lot number) and designed to be free of contaminants such as sulfur, lead and halogens. The indicator melts at the designated temperature for easy visual inspection, delivering accurate results (approximately ±1% of rated temperature). Tempilstiks meet preheat temperature requirements of welding codes such as AWS D1.1 and other applicable welding specifications. Outer material is plastic; care instructions: wipe clean.
