3M Interam Endothermic Mat E-5A-4, Easy-To-Install, Chemically-Bound Water Release, Heat-Absorbing Wrap System

3M INTERAM Endothermic Mat E-5A-4 is a flexible, heat-absorbing wrap system designed for industrial fire protection. The mat is chemically bound to release water when exposed to intense heat, cooling outer surfaces to protect structural steel components, critical electrical components and wall opening membranes. It is easy to cut and configure for complex installations and can be used to wrap electrical/data cables, conduit, structural steel and large electrical boxes in commercial and industrial applications including oil and gas refineries. The product is non-corrosive and requires no maintenance when properly installed. Tested firestop performance in accordance with ASTM E119, ASTM E1725, ASTM E1529, UL 263, UL 1709, UL 1479 and UL 2431. Sold as 1 roll (24.5 in x 20 ft).
